Temperament not assessed in Paddock
These were very good to handle in all aspects of the yards. They marched up the race very well and most were steady on the weighing platform, a few jumped about a bit. They were also good to handle in the bigger yards but like all cattle need to be steadied through gateways and stood up well during photographing. Buyer advised to settle these steers on arrival before letting them go out of the yards.

Assessor Comments
Buyers here are 67 steers out of a run of 134 offered in 2 lots. These presented in store condition so buyers need to understand they are not buying too much condition so as a result I feel these offer plenty of compensatory weight gains on either crop, grass or grain. There is a little bit of Buffalo fly on them so the weight gains at present could be affected. They are soft steers loaded with eye appeal and demonstrate good bone, length, depth of barrel and weight for age. These will suit to take to heavier export feedlot entry weights or to take all the way to bullocks off crop. These don’t look to have suffered any setbacks at any stage. Noted approx. 4 with light wart, 3 with ring worm scars & 2 with fly rub on the head & neck, no issues expected. We are receiving excellent feedback from past buyers about their performance. The beef industry is in great shape so fill up paddocks with quality from the top shelf. There are 302 steers from this property in the sale offered in 4 lots.
