Fresh out of the paddock steers were a bit flighty as a mob. They did settle down a little towards the end of the assessment after being handled. Would stir a little when forced into a corner or through a gate. Through the race and into the crush approx 30% got agitated during weighing.

Angus & Black Baldy two-year-old steers which present with plenty of frame and weighed 546kg full (481-616kg) full at assessment. These steers are run in large mobs, under high stocking rates, and will show good compensatory weight gain. Very attractive line of steers to fatten on grass or grain, given their frame and age, will finish quickly and provide a quick return on investment. There was the odd steer with old eye scar, a tail of 5% was removed from the line at assessment. Please note; there is another line of 28 coloured steers in this sale for a total of 98 steers being offered.
