Assessor Comments
An excellent line of Angus Feeder steers doing really well on the end of an oats crop. These steers are 14 to 16 months old and were drenched with Cydectin and had a 5 in 1 on 23/9. The steers are sired by sons of Tour of Duty and Booragul K104 by Station Breed cows based on Ben Nevis, Forres and Kilburnie Blood lines. They have powered ahead in the last 6 weeks and are ready to continue performing. 4 Steers were slightly stirry in the crush but calmed when returned to the mob. Please note on steer had a small area of white behind the navel. Please also note 24 hours is required before pick up as wet weather will impact truck access. The steers averaged 516kgs at assessment and were returned to the oats crop they were grazing. The sale of the Cream Cattle Co. steers represents an opportunity the opportunity to purchase an outstanding line of Angus Feeder steers.
