These young steers have plenty of frame and room to hang kilos on, averaging 424.5kg full weight at assessment & vast majority are in a very tight weight range. 100% weighed between 400-500kg with 64% 400-430kg, 27% 430-460kg and 9% 460-500kg (full weight at assessment). 20 mouthed all being milk tooth, a very even line of steers with little variation between top and tail. 100% vendor bred with 2 x family brands these steers are ideal to take through to heavy feeders or grass bullocks with all the quality to ensure marketing options right the way through. Exceptional temperament and education, these steers are an absolute credit to the vendors and their education program. genuine well grown steers that are exceptionally well handled and have proven performance on grass and grain.

Vendor Bred steers out of a highly measured herd of Commercially accredited Droughtmaster cows with an emphasis on fertility, temperament, polled genetics, growth and conformation.

Out of commercially accredited Droughtmaster cows by stud and commercial sires including genetics from Cashmere, Glenlands, and Telemon studs.

Dry body of Flinders and Mitchell Grass tussocks. some colour still evident in stalks with reasonable nutrition levels still expected. undulating black soil with pebbly ridges and lightly timbered frontage country.

Part of our annual turn off of steers, these steers have performed very well averaging 0.7kg/day since weaning. Excellent temperament, and well educated steers ready to continue their journey onto bullocks.

Ticky, Cattle will be required to clear the dip for tick free areas. [Please note: It is the responsibility of the Purchaser to satisfy all state compliances in regard to the movement of this lot.]

Steers are a run of 6 decks to be split by the swing of the gate and assessment may vary slightly.
