Steers have cut up a little over the past week with some storms on them. no issues trucking long distance, fit and healthy and now on a rising plane of nutrition.

Steers were a pleasure to handle through the yards, odd steer baulked going into the weigh box or exited the headbail after mouthing briskly, neither of which would be considered unexpected. after assessment Steers stood quietly and calmly for photos and in many instances needed to be moved away from the camera. walked out after assessment easily with 2 men on motorbikes.

3 decks of predominately high grade Brahman steers. Plenty of hip height and frame and generally heavy boned. ideal to grow out to grass bullocks or would make excellent feeders.
temperament is spot on with these boys handling very well through the yards and easily let out after assessment, it is not hard to see the education these boys have received.
Predominately Local Pluto and Chatfield Brahman genetics with some steers showing slight cross with Droughtmaster or senepol/Charolais from 5 star senepols.
40% of the mob mouthed with 6 steers only just breaking 2 teeth. 100% weighed at assessment after 4 hrs off feed and water to average 390kg full weight.
odd steer in this mob has cracked off toes with some steers showing just fractionally long toes, not affecting their performance or ability in the paddock.
Vendors have another line of Softer flatback steers in this sale and would like to deliver both lots at the same time.

Predominately 2nd round weaners from 2020 these steers have continued to grow well and show plenty of bone and frame. genuinely quiet steers with a lot of time spent on their education. being sold earlier than usual due to seasonal conditions.
