Heifers handled very well through the yards after being drafted numerous times prior to assessment. small percentage became slightly agitated in the headbail and during mouthing however all filed through the race draft quietly and comfortably settling quickly once assessed and in the mob. Excellent temperament through bigger yards.

A good quality 3 deck line of Flatback crossbred heifers. Mixed breeds predominately made up of Vendor bred Droughtmaster and Droughtmaster cross heifers with balance purchased composite charbray and brangus types. Majority of heifers show some slight hump height but still considered flatback crossbred types 100% weighed at assessment after being drafted the day before and off feed and water. 26 x 320-360kg, 34 x 360-420kg and 18hd 420kg +. 30hd in total mouthed with 100% of the #3's included in this number, break up was 19 x 2 tooth heifers balance 0 tooth. Mixed colours predominately Reds and honeys, unjoined with good medium frame and bone, these heifers have averaged just under 0.5kg/day since weaning and are ready to continue on their journey as replacement breeders or trade on heifers. Buyers please note vendor has 5 other lots of females in this sale for your consideration.

Part of a run of heifers intended to join at the beginning of this year as replacement breeders. As our northern breeder block was in negotiation for sale the decision was made not to join and keep them moving forward as trade heifers.
