The steers were a pleasure to handle through the yards at assessment. The odd steer stirred up under pressure in the
crush but calmed down once released. The weaners were fresh in the yards but calmed down over the assessment.

Approx. 81 (2 decks) of GQ Crossbred steers. At assessment steers weighed 140 – 368kg to avg 249kg after being in the yards overnight on feed and water. These steers are out of medium and large framed AngusX, DroughtmasterX & BrahmanX cows and are sired by GQ Angus & Brahman bulls. 10 head were mouthed and all presented milk teeth, majority of the steers are branded No.2 with a percentage branded No.1. The breed breakdown in this mob is approximately 39% AngusX, 30% Brahman & 31% BrahmanX. Steers will go ahead on good feed and are ideal steers to background for the domestic feeder market. Please note 1 other lot of heifers in this auction.
