Assessor Comments
A good to mostly very good quality line of yard weaned steers. With medium to large frame they suit to background to export feeder weights and then crop or grain finish for a high quality slaughter markets. They are mostly good and very good quality steers with the 9% fair quality steers just lacking a little muscling and freshness. This line of sale steers were drafted as Angus x Angus or Angus x to suit most export feeder program. Please note 11 A/CH steers note included in this line which avg 238 kg are avail post sale by negotiation if required to fill the load. They will be given their 5 in 1 booster during this weaning week and will be worked in and through the yards during weaning. Four steers noted with slight blue eye scarring and while no active pink eye was visible they will be monitored during weaning. The steers have not had access to grain and are GRASS market eligible.
