Heifers flowed well through the yards and crush, and most became agitated while in the crush. Once released into the yard with the other cattle, they all calmed down quickly and settled. Refer to the video of them in the yards and walking out.

Assessor Comments
Presented in two B-Double lines, 83 head “run out the gate.” These heifers are showing excellent stretch and frame, a testament to their southern breeding. The heifers have not had any opportunity with a bull and have been pregnancy-tested empty for buyer confidence. The original plan was to retain these females and grow them through to feeder weights, but a deteriorating season has prevented that. The cattle arrived from the south six months ago in poor condition and have since gained nearly a kilo per day on western grasses and herbages. Buy with confidence—pure southern-bred Angus in good health and gaining weight through tough conditions.
