As a mob of Brahman steers these cattle have been educated and handled extremely well by the breeders and are a pleasure to handle in the paddock and yards. As you would expect when isolated or provoked/ spooked they can be flighty and defensive but immediately settle when returned to the mob. Most didn’t enjoy being mouthed but this was done with out the need of a chin bar with little stress.

Quality line of light feeder steers/ Backgrounders that have a reputation for performance and have done extremely well since arriving on Calga. Predominantly well bred Brahman steers with a few flat back types through the mob. There is 308 steers approx in this mob to be delivered as a run out the gate. To be offered as 3x (3decks 84) 1x (2 decks 56). 100 steers weighed and mouthed of entire mob. 78% milk’s, 24% 2 tooth’s, 4% 4 tooth’s. The Hacon cattle have a tremendous reputation for performance have not disappointed while they have been on Calga. Delivery will be 1 day only. Vendors are offering these steers both $$/hd and c/kg off Calga station scales full less 4%.
