Steers were exceptionally good to work through the yards, race and over scales. They settled down straight away after releasing from crush. They have obviously been very well handled prior to weaning and at weaning with weaner handler Georgina Moore. Their temperament is a credit to the management. The steers have only been race drafted.

84 VGQ HGP Treated Vendor Bred Steers. These steers are bred on the Downs and are all one brand and are out of a highly regarded, control mated Answer Downs and Raelee herd. They are ideal steers to grow out to heavy feeders or bullocks suitable for processor or live export markets. They are all by Burenda Brangus and Angus Bulls and they have very good bone, length and depth for their age. They are extremely good cattle to work in the yards, up the race or in the crush, and have been very well dehorned. They were treated with Compudose 100 Day when they were branded and were re-implanted with Compudose 400 Day at weaning in July 2021. There is 1 steer with a small fist sized waterbag in his purse. Raelee is Prickly Acacia Free. Note vendors have another 9 Decks of Brahman Steers in the same sale
