Good to Handle through the yards. There were a few that were unsettled in the crush however settled once let out. They will need steadying through gateways. They will get slightly stirred up if put under too much pressure. They are Round Yard drafted

85 VGQ HGP Treated Vendor Bred Santa Cross Steers. Majority Exhibit Good Bone, Length, Depth and Frame for their age. Ideal Steers to grow out to Feeder or Slaughter Weights with majority having the capacity to make good Bullocks. 44 are suitable for Supermarket Trade leaving the remaining 41 considered a Flatback, with 2 of these pushing the Brahman content limit. These Steers have Tidy Heads & Good Feet. They were 100% weighed & assessed after 14 hours off feed & water as well as 24 hours in the yards. They are a mixture of late No.4's (treated last year with 200 day Compudose) & No.5's (treated with 200 day Compudose at weaning). The No.5's were cut & dehorned 4 weeks ago at weaning & are fully healed & going forward. None of these Steers were mouthed, however a sample of heavier No.3 & No.4 Feeder Steers were milk & two teeth so are pretty confident these will be milk teeth. Colane has some Prickly Acacia.
