Heifers were generally pretty good to handle through all areas of the yards. In the bigger yards there did appear to be a few ring leaders that tend to move quickly around the yards and very easily spooked. When being photographed most walked out pretty well. They do need to be steadied through gateways but again that is relevant with most cattle. Nothing considered aggressive in the lot. Buyer advised to work cattle steadily & allow sufficient time for them to settle on arrival.

Buyers, here is a load of good quality Composite type heifers that have all been vendor pregnancy tested non detectable. These will suit backgrounder operations to take to heavier domestic feedlot entry weights or crop fatteners. Also, highly suitable for restockers to mate to the bulls of choice. These heifers have more content in them than the other lot and look to be ideal high performing domestic heifers that have plenty of carcass potential. Vendor has several properties so will have multiple PIC numbers in the tags but have been scanned & fully lifetime traceable. These are in a tick area but are guaranteed to clean country with the only stipulation that interstate buyers pay the cost of a plunge dip at the clearing dip. If you are confused in any way, please call either assessor or delivery agent for further clarification on dipping protocols. Be aware there are 2 decks of other heifers in the sale from this property that can be used to fill decks.
