Weaners have had an excellent start to life since birth and through to the spring and summer period. Due to the last month of hot dry weather they have started to dry in the coat and loose their sappiness.

Weaners are very good to handle in the round yard and race when assessing. They worked well up the race and crush with the very odd weaner wanting to push forward on to the lead beast when in the race. Mustered with ATV or bikes. NO HORSES or DOGS used on these cattle.

Very good quality weaner steers that would normally be retained to grow out into feeder steers. These steers would be ideal grow out to finish on crop or pasture for the Grass fed market. A small percentage of these steers would be by ONWARD or TINTARA Murray Grey bulls sourced from the Top of the Range Murray Grey sale held in Glenn Innis. They are out of medium to large framed Charolais X cows. TEMANA & CALOONA Charolais Bulls used on the remainder of the cows. All weaners are out of a Silver Murray Grey herd that originated from Mount View Murray Grey Stud at Bendemeer. Introduction of silver bulls sourced annually from WALLAWONG & MUNDALOLA Murray Grey studs were used to focus on temperament, frame & carcass traits for cattle that are naturally easy doing to target either weaner sales or feeder weights. These weaners are standing on good bone and should finish into quality cattle with plenty of shape for the feeder or kill markets.
