Heifers were very good to handle in all parts of yards. They fed up into the crush well when being assessed. Some heifers did react negatively while being mouthed in the crush, but once they were realised from the head bail they settled quickly and walked into the mob. Some cattle moved off quickly when pressure was applied in the yards.

Buyers here is an opportunity to purchase a small line of Angus/Santa x, Limousin and Santa/Shorthorn heifers. These would make great future breeders or backgrounders to take through to feeder or export weights. Heifers present in forward store condition and i expect would go forward on the right feed conditions. Buyers please note 1 heifer had warts around neck, face and shoulders, 2 other heifers had warts around face and neck. Vendor also has 18 heavier heifers in the same sale.
