A good line of young Brahman & Brahman Cross milk tooth yearling steers. well suited as backgrounders for live export or feedlots with plenty of softness about them. weaned and educated with plenty of potential these steers have the frame and room to continue moving forward to heavy feeders or grass bullocks. Good moderate to large frame, with tidy heads, good temperament and well handled. approx 50% of these steers are out of a mob of cows purchased in 2019, approx 50% genuine vendor bred steers heavily influenced by the highly regarded Bungoona bloodlines with Charolais genetics through the core breeding herd including River Glen & Ayr. approx 30% of these steers are considered flatback crossbred types predominately being Charbray/Charolais types. steers are showing slight roughness in the coat, predominately in the neck area indicating possible lice however buffalo flies were prevalent at assessment with 3 steers noted to have open bites on their neck.

A very good body of Green high growth Buffel, Mitchell and Flinders Grasses on semi-shaded pebbly downs and pulled gidgea and boree country.

a line of out of season steers from last year and early weaned steers from the start of this year, approx 40% out of Purchased cows. steers have performed well in the paddock but need to be sold to make way for weaners coming through.
