Steers were good to handle throughout the assessment process. Steers flowed easily & fluently through force yards & weigh station and were at ease whilst being photographed & videoed in back yards.

91 - Vendor bred EU accredited Angus steers presenting in healthy store to forward store condition. Steers are bred from a reputable base of Angus genetics from the renowned "Farleigh" herd based predominately on Kansas Angus & more recently Bald Blair Angus genetics, with a particular focus on using bulls with high index's for IMF & Long Fed Grain traits.
Steers are a complete age group being Oct - November 2020 drop.
A random sample of Steers were mouthed during assessment - all sample mouths were solid milk teeth.
16 steers were noted to have varying degrees of pink eye scarring. 14 steers were noted to have a single blue dot & 2 having single dot scarring in both eyes. See photos. All steers being treated with 2 x Orbenin eye ointment applications.
Sale of steers presents an opportunity to purchase a genuine line of Vendor bred EU accredited Angus steers to take on & further background or feed for either Domestic, Export or Angus specific long fed feedlot markets.
