Steers were good to handle throughout the assessment process. Steers flowed well through the force & weigh station. 12 steers were noted to become agitated in weigh station exiting with haste settling when united with mob. Steers were quiet to handle in holding paddock, whist on foot steers would maneuver around without issue for photos & videos.

96 - Good Quality Vendor Bred EU Accredited Angus sired Steers. Steers are the lead draft of the 2021 Spring drop calves, presenting in healthy forward store to fresh condition. Steers are on the improve, losing old hair & cleaning up in the coats. Steers are to be sold C/kg live weight to be delivered to the Armidale Saleyards the night prior to delivery & weighed the next morning after an overnight 12 hour curfew on water. All steers being weighed out at assessment with a projected delivery weight of 459kg. Steers have been monitored over the past month on av gaining 1kg per day weight gain, steers would be expected to continue post assessment. Sale of steers present an opportunity to purchase a genuine line of Vendor bred EU accredited Angus sired feeder steers, exhibiting good quality & growth for age, suitable for either the Domestic, Export or Angus specific Long Fed feedlot markets. Steers also have the potential to continue back grounding for the heavier Grass fed markets.
