Mostly good to handle in and through the yards. However they do tend to rush at gates and do not block up easily. Seven steers moderately agitated in and exiting the crush and one highly agitated, All settled back in the mob and nothing aggressive noted.

Assessor Comments
A good to very good quality line of medium to large frame yearling steers. These steers are vendor bred and have been on agistment on oats at Booroondoo Nth since late July. They are a mix of Ultrablack, Ultrablack x Charolais and Charolais x Charolais steers. They are a soft type of crossbred and suit to grow onto heavy domestic feeder and then through to export feeder weights. Two steers noted with scaly skin loss in patches on flank and backline (see photo) - the hair seems to be growing back and the steers are moving forward at the same ADG as their brothers. They are located just 5km south of the Moonie crossroads with very good truck access to assist with moving either south or north. Good growthy steers that will continue to grow on.
