Heifers are generally good to handle when not rushed and flowed through the yards well. They do need to be steadied through gate ways and will become "hot" when rushed or singled out. Most were slightly agitated when weighed and mouthed but much more relaxed as a mob.

(164) High grade Brahman heifers presenting in a good store to forward store condition ideal to background for replacement females or put away for winter crop. Weighed after an overnight curfew 230 - 275 kg to average 257 kg. These heifers look to be of good health and are starting to really go forward, should offer considerable weight gains. 100% mouthed milk tooth. HGP free. one heifer with healed fly scaring on neck.
