Heifers were good to handle throughout the assessment process. Heifers showed an element of uneasiness when pressured. 4 heifers became agitated in weigh station, exiting with haste, but soon settled when united with mob. Heifers were uneasy but became settled in our presence, allowing to be maneuvered around on foot when photographing & videoing in holding paddock. Heifers demonstrated a desire to "run" when released from yards but responded well to dogs when blocked.

59 - EU Accredited Vendor bred Angus heifers presenting in healthy fresh forward store condition.
Heifers are the annual draft of the "Abington Station" production sale, offering 147 Angus heifers over 3 lots.
Heifers have not had any opportunity to join & for purchasers assurance heifers have been Vet Pregnancy tested empty the morning of assessment.
Heifers are the lead draft weighing 350kg & heavier. 3 heifers were noted to have experienced varying degrees of pink eye scarring of which all eyes are dry and considered to be in the 3rd stage, evident by a bluish-white spot. Vendor will continue to monitor & assess prior to delivery. Please note Vendor has another consignment of 39 Euro infused heifers of the same description in the sale from another property. Sale of heifers presents an opportunity to purchase a genuine line of unjoined EU Angus Females bred from a reputable Angus cow herd to take on as future replacement breeders or feed on for Domestic or export markets.
