Typical weaners not long off the cows so at this point they have had limited handling. They will be tailed out and handled further between assessment and delivery so would envisage these will settle down a bit by then. They are not yard savy just yet so are easily spooked and most will always follow ring leaders. Nothing that could be described as stirry in the mob in the bigger yards though. These tend to gallop about a bit and need to be steadied down through a gateway, not unusual.

The Consuelo EU ACCREDITED Santa and Santa X backgrounder heifers that come with a great reputation. Regularly offered on A+ that always attracted plenty of repeat buyers who have commented on their great performance. Odd lighter weight heifer just showing the effects of the dryer seasonal conditions and probably weaned a little bit early. This lot contains a few with a bit of cross in them that were discarded from previous sale lots in an effort to keep them all red heifers. Lightweight heifers ideal for restockers to put away for the long term for either domestic feedlot entry or to retain for a long term breeder operation. Clean country buyers note they are offered GUARANTEED CLEAR of the dip. Noted approx. 2% with a small amount of old ring worm scars, no issues here. Do not miss this opportunity to purchase top notch heifers with plenty of runs on the board. Heifers that come highly recommended. There are two lots of steers also in the sale, put together will fit on a B-Double.

Almost all vendor bred from a very good quality herd of Santa & Santa x breeders renowned in the local. All by Santa bulls. Approx. 14 heifers bred at "Yantamara" Bauhinia from a purchased line earlier this year.

Have been on cows up until weaning on a good cover of frosted Buffel and native grasses. Since weaning have been in the yards on good quality hay.
