Assessor Comments
Buyers a very good opportunity to secure the lead of the OK Station Pastoral Steers. All Steers are antibiotic and grain free and are eligible for grass fed programs. Steers are highly recommended Angus and Angus cross Steers. Steers are out of well known Angus and Angus cross Cow herd. Vendor has been buying top quality Angus Bulls from highly renowned known Angus Studs such as TEX, Clunie Range and Kelso Angus Bulls focusing on high 200-400 day growth and good EMA. Steers show good length of body and good softness and would be ideal for a backgrounding operation to take through onto a winter crop. Out of total Steers assessed (130) they will be drafted into 2 even lots of 65hd as a run out the gate to the best of our ability. Please note 2 Steers have old scarring on both eyes but did not seem to effect their vision, 2 Steers had active blight and were treated at assessment and again 2 days after assessment and will be reassessed at delivery.
