Steers handled ok, they tended to have some rush/run in them only typical of age. With more handling should take the rush out of them. Steers calmed once pressure was removed.

A small lot of steers ready for the crop, weaned as of today (4.8.21), but personally looking at steers I don’t think they were getting much off mum. Most of the steers are an Angus cross with 5 have some scur or dehorned scur. There is 1 black baldy and 1 blue roan steer. There is 1 steer showing the signs of being marked late, showing a bit think around the head but he’s young enough for it to grow out, not considered detrimental.
Vendor has other lots in today’s sale.
