Heifers are well handled and are good to work with in the yards and paddock. A small number of heifers stirred when caught in the head bale to be mouthed. When released into the mob they relaxed immediately.

80 Preg Tested Empty Angus Heifers that weighed from 410kg - 520kg to average 473kg at assessment. They have all had their first calf weaned off them during March but did not test back in calf after a tight 6 week joining in late 2020. Heifers are all four teeth and present in a store to forward store condition. Considering their age, frame and carcase traits they would perform well in a feedlot or to finish on crop / pasture. Keeping in mind that they have only had a tight 6 week joining period and carry very reputable blood lines, don’t overlook these girls as future breeders either. Romani are also offering two similar lots in this sale: 76 x PTE Angus Heifers, 20 - 24 months, weighing 400kg - 520kg to average 463kg at assessment. 22 x PTE Black Baldy / Hereford Heifers, 20 - 30 months, weighing 430kg - 520kg to average 474kg at assessment. PLEASE NOTE: 3 x white on udder / 3 x white in front of the navel / 5 x scarring in one eye / 4 x cloud in one.

Stock History
Majority of these heifers are vendor bred and Romani has mainly used 'Rennylea Angus' bulls through their cow herd. Any other Angus genetics used are sourced from reputable studs and have been focused on positive fats, marbling and growth.
Bloodlines
In Autumn 2019 to increase female numbers, heifers were sourced from feature weaner sales at Carcoar, Yass & Cooma.
