Heifers were good to handle in the yards an crush. All leading up the race well, and standing sensibly in the crush, just a few doing a bit of rocking back and fourth. All heifers exited the crush quite calmly and rejoined their sisters. Let out in to the back yard for photographing and there was a couple of heifers that became a bit anxious, just rushing from one end of the yard to the other. Just need a bit more blocking up and educating to settle them down in larger areas.

Assessor Comments
Healthy line of young Angus Heifers. All with plenty of frame, good length, and a deep barrel. Heifers that have been given time to grow out and mature, are heavily cycling and in good condition to put out with the bulls on delivery and target an early Autumn calving if you’re looking to join. These young females have shown good feed conversion, ticking along on dried off basic pastures with a bit of supplementary hay. Heifers that offer the successful purchaser a very good compensatory weight gain opportunity on delivery, and will kick forward.
