Cattle handled well through yards. There were a few steers that looked to run through open gates, but overall generally quiet cattle. With further handling they would continue to settle.

On offer is a good line of predominantly Angus and Black Baldy steers. These steers weighed between 260-324kgs LW at assessment and present relatively even. These are a good type of steer that show a little more maturity than young weaners and are in great condition to put on kilos. I believe these cattle would benefit from a drench on arrival before put out onto feed to see better weight results, only due to summer rain and having a green pick where they are currently running. Steers were calved out of brought in cows that are true to type Angus, medium to large frame females.
Good opportunity to secure lighter weight steers that are well weaned and will perform given the right opportunity.
