Cattle were easy to handle under in a controlled environment. They did have a little bit more run in them through gates than usual during the assessment and 3-4 stirred up when under pressure in the crush. The Trewalla cattle are typically very well handled with low stress handling techniques, are yard weaned and moved regularly in a rotational grazing system.

Assessor Comments
Rennylea/ Bongongo blood Angus heifers that were preg tested empty and weighed 376 full (316-495kg) at assessment. Heifers are actively cycling and would suit to re-join, having gone forward significantly since missing out the first time around. The Trewalla cattle are always highly sought after by backgrounders and finishers due to their high growth rates and high quality genetics used. A 20% tail was removed from the line. Please note; one freemartin in the line, which is identified - buyers have the option on this animal.
