Temperament has been bred in to these cattle, Easy to draft off the cows and move throughout the yards. Moving at a steady trot but not crashing through gates to get away from handler. Calves surprisingly handled even better on their own when made to think for themselves. Very easy through the crush with most just walking in and walk/trotting out. Very quiet to walk through and take photos of. Calves that should be no trouble to wean and a delight to own for years to come.

Annual draft of the well renowned 'Major Ridge' Shorthorn Calves. EU accredited, Fully Grass Assured & Antibiotic Free. These are some of the best bred Shorthorn cattle in the greater district. Out of cows as heavy as 900 kgs, all with huge tanks of milk underneath them. These calves have had the best start possible in life and have all the breeding behind them to keep going forward once they leave mum's side. Absolute standout cattle with huge bone and length about them. Soft, fleshy, heavy set cattle, bred to perform. Cattle that will pack on the kilo's for any chosen market, but would actually be a shame not to see them go on as breeders. Buyer Notes. 1 Heifers had a grass seed removed from her eye at assessment. (Eye was treated & should heal without blemish) Cows & Calves were in yards for approx 16hours, but still had access to their mother until 2 hrs prior to weighing.
