The steers were generally easy to handle in the yard and weigh but it was observed that 3 did become slightly stirry during weighing in the crush - Not detrimental in any way - The steers were satisfactory to move about with in the yard after weighing was completed - Temperament was considered to be generally quiet/sound when not under direct stress or pressure

10 Hereford & Hereford X Steers - Vendor Bred, ‘Kanimbla’ Blood - Rising approximately 14-16 months - Yearling steers that are starting to grow & fill out - 2 mouthed in lot showing Milk Teeth - Presenting in strong forwarstore condition - Solid medium to large frame with majority displaying good strength/length/weight for age - All ‘Grass Fed/Antibiotic Free’, a vendor signed PCAS non-certified supplier declaration is available upon request - Ideally suited to purchase for either a grass fed fattening program or alternatively take out to feeder weights/put on grain immediately - These steers come recommended by the agent since the introduction of Poll Hereford sires to the farm breeding program in recent years with drafts performing well with weight gain/growth - Purchase with confidence, good potential to grow out into very good heavy kill steers/bullocks if given feed - NOTE 2 steers presenting with some small wart patches near face/brisket, not deemed detrimental
