Assessor Comments
A rare opportunity presents to secure the full drop of Aug/Sept 2024 vendor-bred Lawson Angus blood heifers—normally retained as breeders, but offered only due to seasonal conditions. These heifers present in forward store condition with excellent depth, frame, and conformation. Having come through a tough dry autumn and cold winter with limited pasture, they have been supplemented with hay and cottonseed. Sired by high-indexing Lawson Angus bulls, carefully selected for low birth weight, calving ease, short gestation, moderated mature cow weight, and high IMF (Av 3.9) these heifers are renowned for performance and predictability. Managed in large mobs under rotational grazing, they are an ideal option for a producer looking to expand or establish a quality breeding herd. 4 head show old pink eye scarring, and some cattle display signs of rubbing, not detrimental. Also Offering: 1 other lot of 108 head (B-double load), run-out-the-gate and another lot of 86 lighter heifers.
