Cattle generally handled well. If there was an open gate from yard to yard the heifers showed some run. Being a little agitated by the whole process I believe with further handling these cattle will quieten right down.

On offer is a little line of 11 NSM Angus heifers that are tops of the drop. These cattle would benefit from a drench on arrival before put out onto feed to see better weight results, only due to having a continued green pick where they are currently running. These heifers were calved out of brought in cows that are true to type Angus, medium to large frame females. Given the right opportunity I believe these heifers will be ideal future breeders, given their own genetic merit and maturity. Alternatively this article have very good growth and stretch and would be suitable to feed onto heavier feeder or kill weights as they have already had a great start.
