Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Heifers were generally very good to handle in portable yards. Most did resent being mouthed but that is a natural reaction with almost all cattle. They did exit the crush calmly and settled when back in the mob. Temperament not an issue.

Assessor Comments
Buyers a small lot of good quality Hereford and Hereford x yearling heifers. These heifers show adequate weight for age and are ready to go to the bulls of choice. Please note these were exposed to a neighbours Angus bull for 5 days and if this is a problem for any potential buyers the vendor is happy to inject them with a shot of Prostaglandin at delivery. These heifers would also suit domestic feedlot entry or to take on to heavier weights on crop or pasture for all grassfed domestic slaughter markets. Noted 2 heifers with some slight cloud in one eye and an additional heifer with a blue eye but it does seem her sight is unaffected. Please be aware there are 4 lots of heifers from this property in the sale that can used to fill up a load.
