These cattle are very good to handle, they have been properly yard weaned for a week, then handled and fed in smaller holding paddocks, prior to being placed in a rotational grazing system on irrigated Lucerne whilst still receiving supplementary straw as roughage.

Here is an opportunity to purchase a full BD load of excellent quality heifers to grow out and join or fatten. These heifers are pure Yarram Park blood and they have all the genetic potential to grow into very big heifers or make excellent future breeders. They are all sired by specially selected Yarram Park bulls bred out of large frame Yarram Park bloodline females. They are anti-biotic free and grass fed only. They have been very neatly dehorned. They have been put back out on irrigated pasture and are still doing well. These cattle come highly recommended. 15 of the heifers were purchased out of Hamilton feature weaner sale in January, the balance are vendor bred. Note: approx 6 heifers have slight pink eye scars in one eye.
