Steers were a pleasure to handle, they were drafted of the scales so never had to physically draft. Steers had been well handled prior with just a few getting agitated with extra human presence being so young. Steers have been through yards a few time due to treating pink eye at weaning.

Muntham, Vic will offer the lead draft of 120 Angus Steers, September/October 2022 drop, Dollar Angus, Banquet and Boonaroo blood, Weaned, PCAS, Grass Fed & Antibiotic free. They will present in good healthy store condition having be weighed at assessment from 241 - 355kgs to ave 280 kgs (full). Bred from large frame Banquet and Boonaroo cows, steers display great bone, depth, width and softness. A terrific line of one mark vendor bred steers that would be perfect for anyone looking to background steers for feedlot markets later on or retain and grow out. All the work is done they are all up to date with their animal husbandry and weaned for 12 weeks. Please note at weaning pink eye was present with 20% (approx) treated with Elaclox, with 10 - 15% steers displaying slight scarring all have been treated and healed up. Bid confidently knowing you are buying high quality genetics that come with an excellent bill of health.
