An outstanding opportunity to put a big run of 245 Sept/ Oct '24 drop Rennylea Angus blood backgrounder steers together being sold in two full B-Double loads. This lot represents the middle draft, all weighed 165kg+ to average 213kg (165-245kg) after an overnight curfew. These steers were bred at Wagga and have been on agistment at Mudgee since 20th June. After a tough start to life, they have really picked up since being on oats at Mudgee having gained 0.97kg/ day since arriving and look to be just starting to really hit their straps. They are the perfect article to grow out to feeder weights or will go on to become excellent heavy grassfed kill steers. Tail end removed. Approx 5% of the line have an old pink eye scar and 1-2% with mild ring worm. Previous purchasers have always been very impressed with the performance of these steers - buy with confidence! Please note; vendor also has a heavier line of steers in this sale for a total of 245 steers being offered.
