These heifers had been yarded twice before assessment and generally handled well when approached and walked through in a sizeable yard. A small portion (approx 6 head) became slightly stirry when moved into the forcing yard and into the crush.

A line of vendor bred Shorthorn weaner heifers bred with focus on quality genetics and growth production. Good bone and feet, two identified with small scur. A slight variation in weights, however are currently being fed under feedlot conditions and are in forward store condition with good clean coats and rising fat cover. One heifer noted (tag 471) was orphaned at birth and thus she is slightly smaller but on the do with quality feed.
