It must be taken into account, that the calves were drafted off their mothers whilst preg testing was taking place, 4 strangers were in the yards , and then they were weighed and assessed. The calves did however sex draft easily, and were nervous rather than difficult. after assessment, they will be yard weaned, but all normal husbandry practices should be followed on introduction to a new home.

Assessor Comments
A well bred line of heifers that show plenty of weight for age and development. These heifers should go on to be good breeders, or grow out to heavy feeder weights, they are out of some nice big cows. This group represent all this drop of Black heifers. There are 2 Black Baldy heifers, 1 with barely any white on the head, but white on the underline, and one black heifer with a white navel. The vendor is also offering 15 Hereford and HfdX heifers, 18 Angus steers, and 9 Hereford steers in the same catalogue.
