These animals were quite flighty in the yards during the drafting & weighing process, which is why I have been reasonably forthcoming in my temperament scoring. I do believe the elements of weather did not help our cause as it was quite wet & muddy underfoot with an extremely slippery concrete yard base. Once these animals were out in the paddock on solid ground they behaved extremely well!

Gippsland Beef are offering their entire 2021 spring drop weaner steers for genuine sale. Comprising of approximately 80 steers in total, this particular lot represents the third draft of animals weighing 250kg - 270kg full. Sired by Texas Angus bulls and out of strong medium/large frame commercial Angus cows gives you an article that could suit a smaller scale backgrounding operation or an opportunity to become an addition to an already focused program. These steers present in an Ideal buying condition with minimal excess fat cover and plenty of frame to pile on the kilos moving into spring. Minor pinkeye scarring observed with nothing being detrimental.
