Vendors cattle are renowned in the district for their temperament. Steers are very quiet and all stock handlers of any ability would feel comfortable and safe handling these cattle.

On offer is a good quality line of 18 Yavenvale Blood Hereford steers. Steers were weighed in a tight weight bracket of 338-395kgs to average 369kgs LW. These cattle are usually retained and grown out to feedlot weights and/or pushed through to bullocks. Due to the season tightening further, vendor is forced to offload. Steers are well weaned and are being supplementary fed very good quality hay. In which they are showing the effects of, as they are beginning to shape up well. Vendor sources top end bulls from Yavenvale Hereford Bull sale, focusing on growth and carcass weight. This is a hesitant sale but a good opportunity for anyone chasing steers with excellent temperament and bred right to take out to the top end of the grids.
