Very quiet in holding yards, no sign of stress in race or crush at weighing. Absolute pleasure to handle. A lot of work has been put into the handling and breeding to make these cattle very docile and a pleasure to handle.

Second run of BASSANO ANGUS steers. These steers are fit and strong but mostly the younger and twin calves with a small tail drafted off, they had a reasonable spring followed by a dry summer with an unusually dry Autumn up till now. Impeccably bred steers to grow on to feedlot weights, or bullocks, have performed very well in the past as they have a ton of breeding and doing ability. Note two lots in sale, to total 81 steers. Weaning, handling , facilities, animal health and breeding are all done to a very high standard. This mob weighed from 210 to 289 kg 5 hours off feed to average 240kg at delivery. Steers being fed Ad lib Silage and Hay in yards for 5 days prior to being let onto dry Autumn pasture with ad lib hay till delivery.
NB 65 APR and HBR Heifers same vendor in this sale. No warts, ringworm or eye issues with these steers.
