A good pen of medium framed, store to forward store conditioned steers ready to jump ahead as the weather warms and the pastures dry ! The morning of the assessment was only 2 degrees, and these steers have had a long wet winter, and are still showing the effects of that winter, with old lice rubs and their hair just starting to fall out. 3 steers were seen to have slight blue spots on the eyes, see photos. The odd steer has a large tail dag, and one steer has no brush. The vendor also has in the same catalogue, 32 Angus steers, and 16 heavier mixed steers, an opportunity to put 71 together.
