These weaners were excellent to handle, they were very quiet and easy to work with throughout the assessment. A credit to the vendors handling and management.

These are an outstanding line of well grown charolais x weaner heifers. These heifers are fresh and long with plenty of bone. The Kohlhagen family purchase top end sires from the Rangan Charolais stud with strict criteria for growth, performance, butt shape and temperament. The growth and weight for age that these calves have is very good. The cow herd is based on big roomy angus and black baldy cows with a few red angus/simmental cross cows. The Kohlhagen calves have a great reputation in the local area, and have been previously awarded the best presented pen in the January weaner sales at NVLX Barnawatha. Assessors Highest recommendation. Grassfed only and no antibiotics. Please note vendor has 1 other lot of 30 steers (their brothers) in the sale totalling 54 weaners.
