Very well mannered young steers. All led up the race quite easily, most stood sensibly on the scales, and exited at a walk. Just a couple of steers that had their back feet off the scales, and needed a bit of shoving to step up, which caused some anxiety in a few, listed above as slightly stirry. Quiet and easy to walk around in the yards, Exited the yard in to the lane way for photos at a walk. Well educated, easy cattle to manage.

Assessor Comments
Very nice line of the well known Neilson Angus calves. Malcolm Neilson has been exclusively using the Alpine Angus genetics for over 25 years now, focusing on getting good early growth in to his cattle, and targeting those big 400 day weights, which is evident in the grass fed performance of these young steers! These healthy young steers all present in forward store condition, have never had a set back, and are marching forward every day! Well over half way to being a bullock, making them a short term - big reward opportunity for a buyer to put those finishing touches on them in an ascending market!
