Top draft of the August/September 2024 Black baldy steers , presenting in healthy store condition and showing good frame and stretch for age.
Yard weaned and EU accredited, these calves have continued to progress despite challenging seasonal conditions. With strong Chiltern Park Angus bloodlines over quality Hereford cows, they offer excellent growth potential and are well-suited to backgrounding or feeder programs.
Given the right conditions, these calves are expected to easily reach target feeder weights by spring.
Note: A small percentage of the draft show signs of pink eye scarring, and some calves have visible ringworm. These issues are superficial and not expected to impact long-term performance.
