All walked up the race without excessive force needed. Easy to walk in and around the yards. Calves haven't had a great deal of education, so still a bit nervous and wanting to move away as you walk through them. All were good for the weighing process, Only 2 wanted to push through up the race, but most became agitated when caught in the head bale to be NLIS tagged. Some bellowing went on, and pulling back on the head gate as expected. Otherwise very easy you cattle.

Tops of the Spring drop of the Brooks Haulage Steers. Good looking steers that are exceptionally square from every angle., Long barrels and meat right down to their knees. Sires purchased annually from the King Island Raff Bull sale, and no expense is spared when selecting Bulls with the desired traits, being Temperament, growth, 400 & 600 Day weight. A high standard is set for the Breeders & females are both retained and occasionally brought in to guarantee the best maternal qualities are used that meet this standard. These steers have weaned up a treat, retaining that easy look of softness & going forward every day. Note. 2 steers presented with a slight blue eye, 1 steer presented with some small warts.
