Calves were easy to handle and assessed well given they have had minimal experience through the yards. a few heifers became slightly agitated in the crush but settled quickly once back with their mates. Whole cow herd is exceptionally quiet.

Assessor Comments
On Offer is a very attractive line of Shorthorn Shorthorn/Charolais cross weaner heifers. Heifers are well grown, soft coated cattle that stand on heavy bone. This lot represents the entire drop of heifer calves and show very good weight for age given the limited access to quality pasture. Given the right nutrition these heifers would put weight on quickly and be suited to the trade and feeder market or alternatively they have the softness and femininity to retain as breeders. (10 heifers were horn tipped at assessment hence the blood showing on some heifers in photos) Vendor also offering 26 steers of same description in same sale.
