Blue ribbon line of Rennylea blood March/ April '24 drop Angus steers from an award-winning herd. These steers weighed 377kg full (315-436kg) at assessment and are in great order given the tough season in the Riverina. The Skinners have been bred using top quality Rennylea sires (links attached) with extensive use of AI used in the herd to rapidly improve genetic gain. Sires of these bulls ave 5.3 for IMF. Feedback from feedlots is putting these steers in the top tier for performance with excellent marbling and growth. Steers from this herd have won multiple awards including most recently coming first at Beef 2024 National Beef Carcase Competition Class 5: Heavy Trade Grain Fed category and 1st MSA eating quality award in the Teys Beef Spectacular feedlot trial. These are truly outstanding steers - you wont find any better.
