Very well handled cattle that were very easy to draft and assess in very basic facilities. Odd animal was slightly unsettled on the scales. Please refer to video as it gives a very good illustration of their temperament.

Red Angus and Red Baldy Steers that spent the winter growing out on lighter hill country, so they arent too forward - just the way you want to buy them! They weighed 329-408kg to average 366kg full at assessment. They have recently been put on a wheat crop and have really turned the corner with the improved nutrition and warmer weather. These steers provide an excellent turnover proposition and will easily reach heavy feeder weights by the end of the year on decent feed. Alternatively, steers are grassfed/ antibiotic free eligible and would make excellent heavy grassfed steers. A large tail was removed from the line at assessment. Please note; vendor has three other lots in todays sale.
