Assessor Comments
Buyers, to be offered for sale are 40 Weaned Angus Heifers. TOPS OF THE DROP. Vendor has not retained any heifers. Late drop calves October/November 2024. 2 marks in these Heifers (both identified). 24 Head are vendor bred, sired by Te Mania Angus Bulls out of Te Mania Angus Cows. 16 head are sired by Reiland Angus Bulls out of Reiland blood Angus Cows. These heifers demonstrated a very quiet temperament at assessment. They have been well handled. Heifers were drenched & had multimin on the 17th of July and have cleaned up very well since then. Ringworm scarring is still present throughout the article. Vendor will Drench the heifers again prior to delivery. These heifers were all weighed at 240+Kg at assessment to average 263.1Kg. A tight 75Kg weight range. Heifers present in good store to forward store condition and will react favourably on good productive feed. Plenty of compensatory weight gain to be had. A great opportunity to source well bred Angus Heifers that are on the do.
